Explore the demo account
The demo is a shared sample account with realistic data. You can open every page and try things out, but nothing you change is saved.
Open the demo
- Go to fiyr.app/demo, or click Try Demo in the footer of any fiyr.app page.
- On the free trial screen after sign-up, click Explore the demo first.
You are signed straight in to the sample account. If you are already signed in to your own FIYR account, the demo link just takes you to your own Transactions instead of signing you out.
What you can do in the demo
Every page works with sample transactions, budgets, goals, assets and a FIRE plan, so it is a good way to see how a full account looks. A banner along the bottom of the screen reminds you that you are exploring the demo.
- Changes are not saved. It is one shared account, so edits you make do not stick.
- Settings is not available in the demo.
- Do not link your own bank from the demo. To use your own accounts, start a free trial.
Leave the demo
Use the buttons in the bottom banner:
- Leave demo
- Signs you out of the demo and returns you to the home page.
- Start free trial
- Takes you to sign-up. See Create your account and start your free trial.
- Back to my account
- Shown instead of Start free trial if you opened the demo from your own free trial screen. It signs you back in to your own account without a password, as long as you return within an hour. After that, sign in as usual.
Common questions
Is the demo data real?
No. It is a fictional household. Nothing in it belongs to anyone.
Why didn't my change stick?
The demo is read-only and shared by everyone, so edits are not saved. Start a free trial to work with your own data.
Does anything from the demo carry over to my account?
No. Your own account starts fresh with your own linked banks.
