Export your transactions
On a computer, open Transactions, click the ⋯ button and choose Export CSV. FIYR downloads transactions.csv with every loaded transaction. Turn on Load All Transactions first if you want your full history.
Export your transactions
- For your whole history, open Settings > Preferences and turn on Load All Transactions first. Otherwise the export covers the last 3 years.
- Open Transactions and click the ⋯ button (Transaction tools) under the chart.
- Choose Export CSV. A file called transactions.csv downloads.
The export includes every loaded transaction, not just the ones your current search or filter shows.
What is in the file
| Column | Contents |

| ID | FIYR's ID for the transaction. Keep it if you plan to re-import changes. |
| Category | The category name. |
| Name | The transaction name as shown in FIYR. |
| Date | YYYY-MM-DD. |
| Labels | All labels, separated by commas. |
| Amount | Positive for money out, negative for money in. |
| Account Holder | you, partner or both, if set. |
| Account ID | An internal ID for the linked account. |
| Account Number | The last four digits of the account. |
| Account Name | The account name from your bank. |
| Goal ID | The goal the transaction is assigned to, if any. |
| Goal Name | That goal's name. |
Edit in a spreadsheet and bring it back
Because the file has an ID column, you can change names, categories or labels in a spreadsheet and import it back. Rows with a matching ID update the existing transaction instead of creating a copy. See Import transactions from a CSV file.
Other data
Export CSV covers transactions only. There is no export for budgets, goals, assets or loans. If you need a copy of that data, email support@fiyr.app.
Common questions
Can I export from my phone?
No. Export CSV is only on a computer.
Why does my export stop three years back?
FIYR loads the last 3 years by default. Turn on Load All Transactions in Settings > Preferences, then export again.
Can I export just one month or one category?
Not directly. Export everything, then filter the file in your spreadsheet.
Can I export my net worth or budgets?
Not from the app. Email support@fiyr.app for a copy.
